Bottega Veneta has unveiled its Spring/Summer 2017 advertising campaign. The campaign is part of "The Art of Collaboration," a project initiated by Tomas Maier since he became creative director in 2001. The project involves collaborating with world-renowned visual artists to create seasonal advertising campaigns, and past campaigns have been shot by renowned photographers such as Vivien Sassen, Nobuyoshi Araki, Nan Goldin, Philippe Lorca di Corcia, Peter Hugo, Peter Lindbergh, and Juergen Teller. The latest campaign was shot by American photographer Todd Hyde at the Moduliter Building in New York City, also known as the "Building of Light," designed by legendary architect Paul Rudolph. Models include actress Lauren Hutton, Joan Smalls, Vittoria Ceretti, Hans Gobein, and Morten Nielsen. Their multicolored and vibrant leather outfits contrast with the modernist architecture. Also featured was a special collection of new and archived bags, including the brand's signature intrecciato clutch bag, worn by Lauren Hutton in the 1980s film "American Gigolo."
