Sacai has unveiled its first-ever bag collection. A pop-up will be held at the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building, 1st Floor, Handbags/Promotions section, from January 18th to 24th, where the collection will be available for pre-sale.

The collection consists of six styles that explore the archetypes of classic bags while combining different styles. Different materials, such as canvas, high-quality leather, and exotic skins like crocodile and mink, are combined to create bags that can be worn in two or three ways.

The classic "S003" coin purse can be paired with a duffel bag and features three interchangeable pieces: a tabular handle strap, a chain, and a shoulder strap. The traditional "S005" horseshoe coin purse has been evolved into a crossbody bag. The classic "S001" and "S002" large and small totes, available in two sizes, can be transformed by flipping the satchel flap over or tucking it inside. Additionally, the oversized, vintage-inspired military "S006" large dry bag can be worn as both a shoulder bag and a crossbody bag. The colors are classic black, navy, and "Sacai Blue," accented with vibrant green and orange. The pop-up also features a handbag with a vintage scarf, available exclusively at the Isetan Shinjuku store. Furthermore, pop-ups will be held at Kotokoto Stage 31 on the third floor of the Hankyu Umeda Main Store from January 25th to 31st, and at Global Message on the first floor of Ginza Mitsukoshi from February 1st to 7th. Ginza Mitsukoshi will be the first to release two exotic leather handbags. Sales will begin on January 28th at the Aoyama flagship store and sacai DOVER STREET MARKET GINZA. sacai has also released a video of its first bag collection. Five popular international models appear in the video, which was directed by photographer Craig McDean and Karl Templer, who was in charge of styling for the show.
