Flowers were a beautiful and constant source of inspiration for founder Christian Dior. The gardens of his birthplace, Granville, were filled with beautiful plants, and the many hours he spent there creating his own herbarium had a profound influence on his later creations.

Paying homage to Monsieur Dior's love of plants, Maria Grazia Chiuri created the "Florelgio" motif. The delicate sketch, rendered in shades of red, pink, blue, yellow, and green, depicts an idyllic, floral landscape reminiscent of the gardens of Granville, Christian Dior's birthplace, in watercolor.

The vibrant and graceful Florelgio motif lends a touch of glamorous elegance to items such as the iconic Lady Dior bag and Dior Book Tote, as well as accessories such as the J'Adior sling pumps, D-Way heeled slides, square scarves, and the D-Bobby bob hat.
