Zenith is releasing three boutique-exclusive editions of the Defy Skyline (41mm, 36mm) featuring cool ice blue dials perfect for summer.

Like the vibrant blue of the sky or sea, the bright, cool tones of the new Defy Skyline Boutique Edition spark the imagination. For the first time, ice blue is available in a Zenith Boutique Edition, and in addition to the original 41mm steel Defy Skyline case, it will also be available in a medium 36mm size. The 36mm case model is also available with a diamond bezel.

Zenith will be releasing colored straps in its online boutiques that will allow you to enjoy summer outfits with the DEFY Skyline Ice Blue Boutique Edition. New color variations have been added to the quick-change straps. You can choose the color, size, and additional buckles to enjoy customizing your Zenith timepiece. *Service in Japan is scheduled to begin in September.

With its architectural lines and robustness, the DEFY Skyline skillfully blends the tradition and modernity of the Zenith DEFY collection. Its angled steel case features a dodecagonal bezel that is a strong reference to the original DEFY, released in 1969. While previous Zenith Boutique Editions have iconicly used deep blue, evoking the image of a starry sky, the DEFY Skyline now features a cool, metallic ice blue. An engraving of a four-pointed star adds a touch of sparkle to the metallic sunburst dial. The date display is finished in the same color to complement the dial design.

Both new models are equipped with Zenith's in-house automatic movements. The DEFY Skyline Ice Blue Boutique Edition 41 is equipped with the high-frequency automatic El Primero 3620 caliber, with its 1/10th of a second display driven directly by a 5Hz escapement. It also boasts a power reserve of approximately 60 hours and a stop-seconds mechanism for precise time-setting. The smaller DEFY Skyline 36 Ice Blue Boutique Edition is powered by the Elite 670, an in-house automatic movement with a power reserve of approximately 50 hours. Both in-house automatic calibers feature star-shaped rotors, visible through the sapphire crystal case back.

The DEFY Skyline Boutique Edition comes on a steel bracelet that combines beveled and polished edges with a satin finish to complement the angular contours of the case. It also comes with an ice blue rubber strap with a starry sky design and a stainless steel folding clasp. Thanks to the quick strap change mechanism unique to the DEFY case, the bracelet and strap can be easily changed by simply pressing the button on the back cover, without the need for tools.
The 41mm model of the DEFY Skyline Ice Blue Boutique Edition will be available first at Zenith online boutiques, Zenith Boutique Ginza, and Zenith Shop Daimaru Tokyo, while the 36mm model will be sold at Zenith boutiques and online boutiques.
