Moschino's Fall/Winter 2017-18 men's collection was presented at Milan's Palazzo Litta on January 14th. The show began in a tense atmosphere, with dangling power cords, flashing lights, and staff clad in white protective gear.

The costume play, reminiscent of a space war, featured long jackets with laser prints of the sci-fi anime "Transformers," suits with silver gloves, and combat boots—a world reminiscent of designer Jeremy Scott's forte. This anime print was also used on women's tulle pumped cocktail dresses, paired with black berets and black harnesses to create a military-inspired story.

Moschino's signature hand-painted floral dresses were made with black latex print on khaki drill cotton, and a collage of digital numbers evoking a countdown was also used on the cocktail dresses. All motifs are also shared with men's coats, jackets, pants, etc., and are effective as iconic accessories for formal occasions.

Basic real clothes such as an olive cotton drill and parachute silk jumpsuit, a trucker jacket with a rose collage print, and a fresco hooded blouson are "transformed" into Moschino's spacey military goods, and the collection seems to build up episodes with each season. To finish off the styling, a punky option was added: a handmade headpiece by Judy Blame.
