Gucci has announced the opening of the "Gucci Cosmos" exhibition in London. Following its debut in Shanghai in April of this year, the exhibition is a cutting-edge presentation of some of the most iconic designs from Gucci's 102-year history. The London exhibition is scheduled to run from October 11 to December 31, 2023, at 180 Studios.

London holds great significance for the brand, as it was here that Guccio Gucci founded his Florentine artisanal luggage factory and shop in 1921. British artist Eze Devlin, who designed the Shanghai exhibition, has created a new setting for 180 Studios, incorporating elements that pay homage to London. Following on from Shanghai, Italian curator Maria Luisa Friesa will present a selection of new, never-before-seen works from the Gucci archives. Gucci Cosmos once again spirals back through the decades, telling the story of how Gucci has continually reflected and defined its times, revealing the visionary ideals at the heart of the brand. Gucci Cosmos is a traveling exhibition that opens the doors of the archives in Florence, revealing the journeys of historic pieces and symbols over time, while showcasing Gucci's heritage and craftsmanship globally. Planned for further expansion to Paris and Kyoto in 2024, the exhibition will feature stories and elements that resonate with the unique culture of each city and country.
