Stella McCartney launched her Fall 2017 women's collection at New York's Cotton Club. The event featured a surprise performance of Alicia Keys' hits "Empire State of Mind" and "Pawn It All," and featured a stellar lineup of guests, including Julianne Moore, Naomi Watts, and Jeff Koons. The women's collection showcases an eclectic energy, blending traditional British elements with playful, unexpected details. New styles of the Falabella Box and Falabella GO, along with accessories like the new Popper bag, were on display, along with popular shoes like the Ellis, Binx, and Odette, and eco-friendly eyewear made from bio-acetate. The collection also features sustainable materials such as sustainable viscose, recycled cashmere, organic cotton and organic denim, recycled nylon, sustainable wood and sustainable cork, nappa-look eco-friendly materials, suede-look eco-friendly materials and fur-free fur. Some items in the collection feature characters from Beano Studio's iconic comic book series, The Dandy. The collection will be available in stores from May.
