The designers chose to present their Alta Sartoria collection in Piazza della Libertà, in the heart of Ostini, known worldwide as the "White Town," overlooking olive groves and the Adriatic Sea. The setting sun, setting over the white town, bathed the Apulian-style houses in the most beautiful shades of pink and orange, creating a perfect backdrop for the show.

The inspiration for this show was based on the traditions of Southern Italy, which are central to the Dolce & Gabbana image. Particular attention was paid to the Corredo, a bridal kit that a mother would start preparing when a girl is born (a white linen tablecloth, lace napkins, and other items that were once given to girls when they got married).

Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana sourced antique corredi and transformed them into jackets, suits and coats. Originally intended for women, they transformed them into the Alta Sartoria collection, the pinnacle of men's tailoring. The color palette is based on classic black, enhanced with beige, white and brown, and accented with gold thread and meticulous embroidery.

The brand also incorporated ceramics from the town of Grottaglie, originally from Ostuni and known worldwide for its beauty, which were featured in several looks during the show.
