FENDER FLAGSHIP TOKYO occupies four floors, from the basement to the third floor, of THE ICE CUBES, the iconic commercial building located in Harajuku/Omotesando. The store design was handled by Klein Dytham architecture (KDa), known for its work on Daikanyama T-SITE/Tsutaya Bookstore (2011), GINZA PLACE (2016), Open House (Bangkok, 2017), and Hoshino Resorts RISONARE facilities. It was designed with the concept of "music lovers and musical instruments."

Designed for all music lovers, FENDER FLAGSHIP TOKYO goes beyond the scope of a traditional music store, offering a variety of musical experiences to visitors. The store will carry a wide selection of Fender products, including Fender Custom Shop®, the finest guitars and basses crafted by the world's most skilled and honored master builders, as well as American- and Japanese-made models, acoustic guitars, ukuleles, amps, and pedals.

In addition, to coincide with the opening of the flagship store, we will launch "F IS FOR FENDER," a high-quality apparel brand that focuses on products made in Japan, which will be sold at the flagship store.

In addition, at the ceremony held on June 29, the day before the opening, Musical Instruments Fender Corporation CEO Andy Mooney and Fender Music Japan Inc. President and CEO, Asia Pacific Region Head Edward Cole explained the background to the opening of the world's first flagship store in Harajuku, the outlook for the Japanese market, which has experienced double-digit growth since 2015, and the future of the brand. Afterwards, a total of 16 Fender-loving artists, including MIYAVI and Ken (L'Arc~en~ciel), rushed to the event. The second half of the event saw Shimofuri Myojo's Soshina act as MC, and actress and creative artist Non, who is active across borders with her guitar, and Fujifabric's Yamauchi Soichiro gave a talk on guitars and a live performance of their favorite guitars.
