Maison Valentino opened its new store on Avenue Montaigne in Paris on May 20, 2023. Relocating a few doors down from its previous location, the new store offers women's and men's ready-to-wear and accessories, with one of its three floors dedicated to menswear. The new store showcases an unprecedented world envisioned by CEO Jacopo Venturini and Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli.

Valentino began implementing a new store concept in 2022. Following previous stores in Madrid, Venice, Jeddah, Geneva, New Delhi, Florence and most recently New York and Shanghai, the new Paris store is designed with a new concept in mind, creating a warm and inviting space that blends spirit, emotions and materials that embody codes that are inviting, enveloping and forward-thinking.

Red elements throughout the store evoke a red carpet. Various shades of red, from lacquer to velvet, spice up the ivory-white interior design, mineral-toned accents and décor inspired by couture from the 1930s to the 1970s. Roman elements such as marble, onyx, checkered patterns and abstract geometric shapes are evident around a grand staircase, like the ephemeral trains of dresses displayed against a marble patchwork backdrop.

Inspired by the spirit of the era, the collections, the seasons and the various customer interactions, the store is a tailored space that makes customers feel at home, offering a sensual and personal experience.

In addition to the traditions of couture, Valentino celebrates the artisanal hand through unique embellishments, such as hammered brass display cases by Fabio Santi, ceramic handles by Massimiliano Pipolo, and free-form plaster chandeliers by Parisian artist Alexandre Roger.
To celebrate the opening of the new store, a selection of iconic works by Italian artist Gioele Amaro will be on display in the store from June 15 to July 15, 2023. This is the second collaboration between Gioele and Valentino, following the ‘Resignify’ exhibition held in Beijing in 2021. This time, Gioele's unique artwork will be exhibited in the store as well as on a billboard on Avenue de l'Opéra in Paris from June 15, 2023.
