A new collection reinterprets Dior tribal with fine jewelry icon Rose des Vents

Jun 26, 2023
"Les Rhumbs," the mansion in Granville, Normandy, France, where Christian Dior spent his childhood, was once owned by a shipowner, and wind roses, indicating the direction of the wind, were painted throughout the house, backyard, and other locations. The symbolic icon of the Rose des Vents is a medallion that combines the wind rose, a symbol of travel, the lucky star that Monsieur Dior carried, and his beloved rose. Since 2015, Victoire de Castellane, Creative Director of Dior Fine Jewelry, has celebrated Christian Dior's lucky star with the Rose des Vents collection, inspired by the endless journeys beckoned by the wind.

In June 2023, the iconic Dior Tribales, inspired by tribal culture, will be reinterpreted with the fine jewelry icon Rose des Vents, creating a new collection called Rose des Vents Tribales. The dual-surface design, combining the Rose des Vents icon with colored stones, is beautiful from any angle and offers different nuances depending on the side facing out. These single earrings allow for free combinations, and can be worn with earrings of different colors and designs to suit your mood and style, making them a playful piece.

"Rose des Vents Tribal" is scheduled to be released on June 28th.
