Giorgio Armani's haute couture line, Giorgio Armani Prive, presented its Spring/Summer 2015 collection at the Palais de Tokyo on January 27th. Leading the front row were leading British, American, and French actresses like Kristen Scott Thomas, Robin Wright, and Juliette Binoche. This season, the collection focused on bamboo, showcasing its suppleness, delicacy, and strength through the finest materials. The collection showcased Armani's signature sculptural beauty to the fullest. In addition to green, mauve, natural white, sand beige, and black, the collection featured Chinese blue, particularly for evening wear. Daywear consisted of bamboo-printed jackets and culottes, the latter of which was accessorized with a thick, sash-like belt, emphasizing an oriental style.

Every time a new, innovative and beautiful item was introduced, such as a shawl made from bundled tubular silk, a top decorated with long Swarovski baguette crystals, or a mesh dress strung with beads, the audience erupted in loud applause.
