
Sanyo Shokai has announced new brands to succeed "Burberry Blue Label" and "Burberry Black Label." These brands will replace the two brands, whose licensing agreements expire in June. Yasuhiro Mihara has been appointed creative director for the new brands, "Blue Label Crestbridge" and "Black Label Crestbridge." The word "crest" in the brand name refers to a British heraldic symbol, the pinnacle of quality, and high quality. On the other hand, "Bridge" has long been used as a place name in the UK.
