Burberry will broadcast its 2015 Autumn/Winter show live on LINE, and will also offer collaborative stamps.

Feb 5, 2015

Burberry Prorsum will be broadcasting its 2015 Autumn/Winter women's collection live on LINE's real-time video streaming feature, "LINE LIVE CAST," at 10 PM Japan time on February 23rd.

Ahead of this broadcast, Burberry and LINE have signed a global partnership. Burberry will be offering new brand experiences to LINE users through its official account, which was launched in January of this year. In mid-February, LINE will collaborate with its original characters, "Brown" and "Cony," to release stamps featuring them coordinated in trench coats and other outfits. Other plans include linking online stores with stores.

Regarding this partnership, Christopher Bailey commented, "Through this collaboration, I would like to convey Burberry's rich history and design culture to the people of Japan in a more personal way."

This year marks a milestone in Japan, as the licensing agreement between Sanyo Shokai and Burberry in the home country expires. Burberry plans to increase the number of roadside and in-shop locations.
