"agnès b. Kimono," a collaborative collection by agnès b. and Yamato, a kimono specialty store founded 102 years ago, will go on sale on Friday, May 8th.

Born out of respect for each other's creations, this project, based on the concept of "A touch of Paris," has produced kimonos and obi incorporating a Parisian taste, as well as jumpsuits made from Japanese kimono fabric. The lineup features modern and chic items that incorporate the essence of both Japan and France.

The kimono is made from original agnès b. textiles, and the obi sash features a transfer print of a Parisian landscape photograph taken by the designer agnès b. herself.

The kimono is made from thin cotton fabric and the obi can be tied with one touch, so that it can be enjoyed as a yukata in the summer.
The jumpsuit, a classic agnès b. workwear, uses cotton-linen fabric from Hamamatsu, which is known for its light and smooth feel, and cotton shrinkage fabric from Ojiya, Niigata, which has a unique wrinkled texture.

The prices of each item are: Kimono (Yukata) 49,000 yen, Obi 29,000 yen, Jumpsuit (Cotton-Linen) 100,000 yen, Jumpsuit (Cotton-Shrunk) 120,000 yen.
These are never-before-seen items that exquisitely match the French esprit with the beauty of Japanese wabi-sabi. Be sure to check them out as part of your special summer outfit. Available at agn's b. Aoyama store, agn's b. official online store (http://shop.agnesb.co.jp/), KIMONO by NADESHIKO Harajuku store, KIMONO by NADESHIKO Machida store, KIMONO by NADESHIKO Tennoji store, KIMONO by NADESHIKO Hiroshima store, KIMONO by NADESHIKO Fukuoka store, KIMONO by NADESHIKO Sapporo store, and Yamato online store (https://store.kimono-yamato.com).
