"TILE KIOSK," a limited-time shop showcasing tiles from Tajimi, Gifu Prefecture, a major tile production area, will open for 11 days from February 13th to 23rd at MINA-TO, a space on the first floor of SPIRAL in Aoyama, Tokyo.


Tajimi City in Gifu Prefecture is one of Japan's leading tile production areas, home to many top tile manufacturers. The Tajimi Mosaic Tile Museum, designed by architect Terunobu Fujimori, is also well-known.

TAJIMI CUSTOM TILES (TCT) is a tile brand that creates "bespoke tiles" designed with original ideas, based on techniques nurtured over a long history in this region. Their pop-up, "TILE KIOSK," features a wide variety of tiles in different colors, patterns, sizes, shapes, and eras, including dead stock that had been lying dormant at the kiln, one-of-a-kind experimental tiles, tiles that have been in production for many years, and new tiles.
