When I'm in Hong Kong, I can't help but crave noodles. Every day, I indulge in delicious noodles and savor the joy of being in Hong Kong.
In this blog, I'll introduce you to Hong Kong's noodle spots that are so addictive you'll fall in love!
♡
 ■Yu Sour and Spicy Noodles
I fell in love with the dry dandan noodles at Yu Sour and Spicy Noodles the first time I tried them last year. Enjoy the hot noodles with the miso meat and sauce. After about three slurps of noodles, my mouth was already tingling from the numbing effect of the Sichuan peppercorns and the intense spiciness. I wanted to seek relief from the cold tea, but they served me hot tea, which only intensified the spiciness in my mouth, leaving me with no way to escape... But that tingling sensation made me feel incredibly happy.
It's a popular restaurant with a constant queue all day, but I highly recommend it to anyone who likes spicy food.

■KIKI Noodle Bar & KIKI Tea
K11 Musea, a large facility that suddenly opened in the summer of 2019, is not just a shopping mall, but also an amusement park-like space specializing in art. The facility can be enjoyed all day long and also has a wide variety of dining options. Among them, I went to "KIKI Noodle Bar & KIKI Tea," a popular restaurant where you can casually enjoy local noodles and tea.
I couldn't forget the dry dandan noodles from "Yu Sour and Spicy Noodles," and I became completely addicted to dandan noodles. The spiciness was mild, but the Hong Kong noodles, which are similar to udon, were delicious. I enjoyed them with their signature tea. This restaurant is also so popular that crowds gather at the entrance. You wait in line by scanning a QR code, so you can shop without stress while waiting your turn.

■GOOD FORTUNE NOODLE Hyakufuku Menya
I also went to "GOOD FORTUNE NOODLE Hyakufuku Menya", which is located inside "K11 Musea". I couldn't see everything in one day, so I visited again. The food court on the second basement floor is quite extensive, with a wide selection of international cuisine! And just like in Japan, Hong Kong is a battlefield of people waiting for a seat...
I was determined to have something other than noodles today, but I ended up choosing noodles for lunch. I decided to change things up a bit and had the Cantonese shrimp wonton noodles. The light soup and shrimp flavor really whetted my appetite. I thoroughly enjoyed the texture of the soft wontons and the thin, chewy noodles.

■Ho Hung Kee HYSANPLACE
After all the research, my last noodle meal in Hong Kong was Ho Keng Gei's steamed pork noodles. I chose this restaurant because of the adorable green sofas inside, but after doing some research I found out it was a popular, long-established restaurant. The pork, which was so thick it covered the noodles, was soft and easy to eat with a hint of star anise, and I enjoyed it while dipping the noodles in the sweet and spicy sauce. The porridge the customer next to me was having also looked delicious... The menu is extensive, so I'd like to visit with a few other people next time.
