"The first Bvlgari hotel to be built by the Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts Collection in the brand's birthplace. It is a great honor for me to take the helm in Rome. Housed in a perfectly restored historic building in a prime location in the heart of Rome, the Bvlgari Hotel Rome has all the elements to become one of the world's finest hotels, with its precious interior design, gourmet cuisine by Niko Romito, and public spaces including a stunning rooftop terrace with 360-degree views of Rome. Together with my team, I will offer our guests the finest service and hospitality experience." Vincenzo Falcone, General Manager, Bvlgari Hotel Rome: The new Rome hotel is located in Piazza Augusto Imperatore, in the heart of the Campo Marzio district, just steps from Via del Corso, Via del Babuino, the Spanish Steps, and the Bvlgari flagship store on Via Condotti. This square is home to two of the most iconic monuments in Roman history, the Mausoleum of Augustus and the Ara Pacis (a monument celebrating the peace brought about during his reign), both built by Augustus, the first Roman Emperor. Opposite them, our hotel building, constructed between 1936 and 1938 and inaugurated in 1950 by then-Italian Prime Minister Alcide De Gasperi, is a prime example of Italian Rationalist architecture in Rome.

Designed by architect Vittorio Baglio Morpurgo, the building is decorated with frescoes, mosaics, and sculptures, showcasing a monumental modern architecture enhanced by traditional Roman building materials and colors, such as ochre travertine and reddish-brown brick. The charm of the rationalist and austere architecture is balanced by frescoes by Antonio Varela, while on the south side, Ferruccio Ferrazzi's 70-square-meter mosaic, a unique interpretation of Rome's creation myth, dominates.

A striking Latin inscription above a magnificent fountain on the building's façade reads: "The place where the spirit of Emperor Augustus resides." The unique connection between the Bvlgari Hotel Rome and the timeless vision of Emperor Augustus is expressed in each area's unique style, from the precious original statue of Augustus from the Torlonia Collection in the hotel's entrance vestibule to the use of travertine and colored marble, symbols of wealth and power in ancient Rome. As with all Bvlgari hotels worldwide, Italian architectural firm ACPV Architects Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel handled both the architectural project and interior design, showcasing the rich textures of stone from the Roman Empire, contrasting with the essence of Italian rationalist architecture. The restoration of the building, like Bvlgari's high jewelry creations, was approached through an interplay of craftsmanship and art, expressed through countless exceptional, made-in-Italy design details, such as the handmade mosaics that adorn the bathrooms, custom tapestries inspired by Bvlgari icons, and handcrafted Murano crystal and lamps found throughout the hotel. Decorated in four color palettes—white, yellow, red, and green—the hotel's 114 guestrooms offer beautiful views of Piazza Augusto Imperatore and Via Frezza, punctuated by the classic charm of Rome. Located on the second floor and offering spectacular views of the Mausoleum of Augustus directly across from the hotel, the 300-square-meter Bvlgari Suite is a haven in Rome's historic center. Furnished with pieces from some of Italy's finest luxury furniture brands, including Antonio Citterio's Flexform and Maxalto collections, and custom tapestries by Venetian textile manufacturer Rubelli, this spacious guestroom includes a master bedroom, living space, and private dining room, ensuring a truly luxurious stay. The Bvlgari Suite's master bedroom boasts an elegant walk-in closet, vanity, steam shower, and a spacious bathroom with a carved white marble bathtub—so large that it was installed by crane before the room's windows were installed. The Bvlgari Suite can easily be expanded by connecting it to adjacent suites. Located in the heart of Tridente and Campo Marzio, the Bvlgari Hotel Rome will feature five signature dining experiences, all curated by Niko Romito, one of the world's most renowned chefs. He earned three Michelin stars for his restaurant, Reale, in Abruzzo, Italy, and has led the culinary operations at Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts since 2017. Located on the fifth floor and boasting captivating views of Piazza Augusto Imperatore, Il Ristorante Niko Romito offers contemporary Italian cuisine designed exclusively for Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts in a warm and elegant setting featuring mahogany walls, Bvlgari artwork, and comfortable "banquet"-style tables. The hotel also offers a private dining room for up to 12 guests, entirely decorated with custom-made silk tapestries depicting the constellations of the stars. The Bvlgari Bar, located on the same floor, features a large black marble counter with Murano glass conical decorations that reflect light, elevating the space to a sophisticated social gathering, while the spacious terrace is equipped with a lounge and bar corner. A unique feature is the rooftop terrace, La Terrazza, which is equipped with cabanas and lounges and offers panoramic views of the Roman skyline. La Terrazza's changing atmosphere changes throughout the day, from a sundeck during the day to an aperitif at dusk and an after-dinner lounge in the evening. An Italian-style light meal menu is offered to complement La Terrazza's changing atmosphere. Designed by Parc Nouveau, La Terrazza was inspired by the gardens of ancient Roman villas such as Villa di Livia and Villa Adriana, and features over 200 vases filled with a variety of plants and flowers, reminiscent of a typical Roman terrace.

On the first floor, the Bvlgari Dolci Boutique, Italy's first, offers a luxurious sweet experience with Bvlgari's popular creations, Chocolate Gems, and a selection of traditional Italian pastries from La Pasticceria Niko Romito's menu.

The Lobby Lounge, facing Piazza Augusto Imperatore, offers a sophisticated and luxurious ambiance, serving afternoon tea and aperitivos throughout the day. Il Caffè, also on the first floor, offers a more casual atmosphere. Its large outdoor space under the porch, decorated with flowers and plants, is the perfect spot for morning coffee or a Roman lunch special. On Sundays, a rich brunch is offered, perfect for enjoying the weekend in a relaxed atmosphere.

The Bvlgari Hotel Rome also features a reading room with a precious collection of books on Roman art, design, history, and architecture, which is available to guests and visitors by reservation. The 1,500-square-meter Bvlgari Spa is a temple of well-being that recreates the atmosphere of an ancient Roman bath, with marble columns surrounding the pool and warm, abundant light streaming in through colored glass windows. With nine treatment rooms, a 25-meter swimming pool, a vitality pool made of mosaic tiles inspired by the patterns of the Baths of Caracalla, and wellness treatments by Augustinus Bader, it is the perfect place to restore balance and harmony to body, mind, and spirit. The adjacent fitness space features state-of-the-art equipment and the WORKSHOP GYMNASIUM training method, created by Lee Mullins exclusively for Bvlgari.
