FENDI, a luxury brand based in Rome, Italy, has demonstrated its continued respect for Italian craftsmanship, which is a core part of the brand's DNA, by hosting the exhibition "Hand in Hand: A Celebration of Exceptional Craftsmanship" at the Palazzo della Civilta Italiana, a monumental building in Rome where the brand is based, for approximately three months from October 2021. This unique exhibition, in which artisans from across Italy bring together their skilled traditional techniques, or craftsmanship, to celebrate collaborative work, will arrive in Omotesando, Tokyo on April 20, 2023, as the second location in the world after Rome.

Since the project was announced in 2020, its ever-evolving grassroots partnerships with artisans across Italy have focused on the brand's iconic Baguette bag, designed in 1997 by Accessories and Menswear Artistic Director Silvia Venturini Fendi as both an icon of the House and a canvas for a glance at its constant transformation.
