"I want to get pumps to enjoy this season's classic trend, but I've only been wearing sneakers lately, so I don't know what to choose. If I were to be greedy, I'd want something that looks beautiful, but also feels as comfortable as flats... But can such a wish come true?"

The shoe department on the second floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku was just renovated this summer, bringing together a wide range of brands, from long-established brands to up-and-coming brands. If you want to enjoy a classic, on-trend look from head to toe, try Roger Vivier's pumps, featuring large Swarovski buckles and floral embroidery. Retro shoes like Vivier and monochrome Jimmy Choo shoes with sparkling gold brand initials at the end of the ribbon are perfect. Both are great for formal occasions, so they'll be especially useful around the New Year's holiday when there are lots of parties. As a mature woman, you're not only concerned with trends, but also with comfort and design. What exactly is "YourFIT 365," a women's shoe service located on the second floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building, where your feet are measured before shoes are selected?

What is "YourFIT 365"?
We spoke to an in-store stylist for more details.

Q: How long has this service been running?
A: "Originally, we measured by hand with a tape measure, but at the end of August this year, we introduced a 3D measuring device and changed to our current style. It's been incredibly popular, and we're booked up for about two to three weeks in advance on weekends."

Q: Please tell us about the entire process.
A: "First, we use a 3D measuring device to measure the length, circumference, and width of each foot, and then save the data on a tablet in the store. Our staff then use that data to recommend pumps based on the customer's preferred color and design. For customers with different foot sizes, we recommend using insoles or other methods to create a comfortable fit."

Q: How many products are currently available in the store?
A: "We have about 1,000 different items, including various colors and patterns, but the tablet offers four designs from eight original Isetan brands. In the future, we plan to offer boots and other items in addition to pumps. Customers can also download the "Mitsukoshi Isetan App" to their smartphones to check which shoes fit their foot shape and scan the barcode on the bottom of each shoe to determine if they are the right size. Using this app, customers can search for and purchase the perfect shoes online without having to go to the store."
