Contemporary artist Chris Namaizawa's solo exhibition "MOUT EXHIBITION 2" will be held from November 2nd to December 10th at the "ART UP" gallery space on the second floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building.


Tokyo-based contemporary artist Chris Namaizawa is currently attracting attention from all over the world. After founding his fashion brand in 2006, he received great acclaim for his pop-up events at the Isetan Shinjuku store. In 2012, he transitioned to being an artist, and has continued to create artworks based on his background in Tokyo street culture and the associated fashion. This solo exhibition will feature canvas-framed works created using decollage techniques from the vast collection of old fashion magazines that Chris Namaizawa has personally collected based on his unique perspective. In addition, the exhibition will feature numbered T-shirts and hoodies that have been elevated to artwork.
