Swiss watch brand Louis Erard has announced a new model in its core Artistic Crafts line. It will be available in Japan from April 2023.

The biggest topic of this release is the highly artistic dial, crafted using the marquetry technique familiar in Japan. The marquetry dial, created by Bastien Chevalier of Sainte-Croix, Switzerland, features over 70 colored pieces of wood cut with surgical precision, geometrically interlocked to create a stunning trompe l'oeil effect, similar to that seen in guilloché dials.
The Artistic Crafts line of watches combines Swiss luxury watches with rare artisanal techniques, embodying the vision of Louis Erard director Manuel Hemme: truly valuable, affordable watches.
