Roppongi Hills' Christmas event, "Roppongi Hills Christmas 2019," kicks off with the illumination lighting ceremony along Roppongi Keyakizaka Street in early November and runs until December 25th. In addition to the illuminations, the event will feature a Christmas market, concerts, and more.

Christmas is upon us at Roppongi Hills, the most visited attraction of the year, attracting 7 million visitors annually. This year, the Keyakizaka Illuminations, a Tokyo winter tradition, will light up the approximately 400-meter-long zelkova-lined street with approximately 700,000 LED lights. Additionally, West Walk will feature a draped Christmas tree inspired by a woman in a dress, and this year's event will feature a variety of unique illuminations and Christmas trees. Photo spots will also be set up during the event.

Past Christmas Concerts
In addition, a plethora of Christmas celebration events will be held at various locations throughout the event. On December 24th and 25th, the annual "Christmas Concert," held every year since the park's opening, will be held at Roppongi Hills Arena. Experience the soulful harmonies of artists, conveying the gentleness of the human voice and the love in their songs.

Past "Christmas Market" Events
Celebrating its 13th year, Roppongi Hills' "Christmas Market 2019," known as one of Japan's oldest Christmas markets, will be held at the O-Yane Plaza from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM from November 30th to December 25th. The venue recreates the Christmas market in Stuttgart, Germany, said to be the largest in the world. Eleven shops, including "Käthe Wohlfahrt," famous for selling traditional German Christmas items year-round, offer over 2,000 varieties of original German Christmas goods, as well as authentic German cuisine like mulled wine and sausages. Enjoy the ambiance of being transported to Germany. Please note that hours will be extended until 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Past Scenes from the "Fir Tree Shop"
The "Fir Tree Shop," selling real fir trees and poinsettias, will also be open on the first floor of Hillside from November 30th to December 25th. Find your favorite from a selection of real fir trees of all sizes, and purchase ornaments at the Christmas market to complete your very own Christmas tree.

The "wish a wish - A Happy Christmas message for your loved ones" project, which runs from November 15th to December 25th, allows you to send Christmas cards to loved ones, or to yourself, that will arrive a year later. Write a message to a loved one on an original Christmas card distributed throughout Roppongi Hills and drop it in a special postbox. The card will be delivered from Roppongi Hills on Christmas Day one year from now.

In addition, restaurants and cafes will be selling limited-edition Christmas cakes, and there will be exciting Christmas shopping. The entire Roppongi Hills complex will be bathed in sparkling lights during the period leading up to Christmas, allowing you to enjoy a special Christmas experience that you won't find anywhere else.
