A new corner where parents and children can enjoy fashion together opens on the Isetan baby and children's floor

Feb 27, 2015

The lifestyle-focused edit shop "TASTEFUL STYLE" will open in an expanded format on the baby and children's floor on the 6th floor of the main building of the Isetan Shinjuku store, which will be remodeled and reopened on March 4th.

The shop will offer a total range of products, from clothing to fashion and household goods, in response to the need for families to share a trendy urban lifestyle.

In conjunction with the popular brands "Urban Closet/Lady for the Weekend" on the 2nd floor of the main building, which targets women in their 30s and 40s, the shop will promote sophisticated styling. While the lineup of children's clothing has previously focused on "going-out" styles such as dresses and one-piece dresses, the new shop will propose "relaxed casual" styles that allow mothers and children to share the same fashion style.

The store not only carries clothing from brands such as "kate spade new york," "MACKINTOSH PHILOSOPHY," "RED CARD," "CHAN LUU," and "MICA&DEAL," but also a wide selection of accessories and other miscellaneous items that mothers and children can use together.

The curved product displays that make use of wood grain and the floor design were both designed by interior designer Yasumichi Morita, who also designed the second, third, and fourth floors of the building in March 2013.
