Demel will be releasing limited-edition sweets at Demel shops nationwide from late July that will brighten up your summer tea time.




The new release features popular Demel products in a limited-edition "banana" (German for banana) flavor. Three Western-style pastries will be available: "Kleinekuchen," "Ziegel," and "Torte."

This summer collection makes the most of the unique flavor of banana, a tropical fruit, while creating flavorful and elegant sweets that are characteristic of Demel. The brand's signature fresh yellow packaging is lovely and makes a great summer gift.

Kleinekuchen (Banane)

This Kleinekuchen is baked with a moist banana and coconut-flavored dough, wrapped around a rich ganache made with banana cream liqueur. Walnut chunks and chocolate chips, kneaded into the mellow sweetness of banana and coconut, add a touch of flavor and texture, while the ganache creates a deep, sophisticated taste.

Bananenziegel

Bananenziegel features a melt-in-your-mouth coconut and banana-flavored langue de chat pastry sandwiched between banana-flavored milk chocolate. The rich, mellow flavor of banana and coconut fills your mouth, reminiscent of the tropics.

Bannernentorte

This simple yet flavorful cake, typical of Viennese confectionery, features a moist and rich dough made with marzipan. Kneaded-in chocolate chips and allspice add a touch of flavor, creating a distinctive taste that combines tropical sweetness with a crisp, refreshing finish.
