"LOOKIN THROUGH THE WINDOW," a photo exhibition focusing on the current state of fashion photography, will be held at GYRE GALLERY in Omotesando from July 20th to August 30th.

--In the world of fashion, fashion photography changes with the times. A person in their 40s who grew up reading magazines, and a person in their 20s who has been familiar with digital photography since they were old enough to understand. A person in their 40s who, with limited resources, desperately studied the photography that shapes the times, and a person in their 20s born into an era in which all kinds of images are in abundance... If there was a photograph in front of us right now, would we be looking at it with the same values? If not, what is the way we view photographs today? --


The exhibition is planned by creator Nomura Kunichi, and photographers representing their generations in their 20s, 30s, and 40s, including Mizutani Taro, Konami Jiro, and Ishida Masumi, have set aside the constraints of their clients to create and exhibit fashion photographs based on the same theme. Furthermore, the exhibition will be planned by Nakajima Toshiko, former editor-in-chief of GINZA, and art directed by Minezaki Noriteru.
