Jul 18, 2019

"The Future of Creation: More Than Reason," a collaboration between Kengo Kuma, Sakanaction, Ichiro Yamaguchi, and Kunihiko Morinaga of Anrealage, will be held at the LIXIL Gallery from July 20th to September 24th.

Since September 2014, LIXIL Gallery has been hosting the "Future of Creation" exhibition project, curated by four leading creators in the Japanese architecture and art worlds: art director Toshio Shimizu, metalwork artist Ryohei Miyata, architect Toyo Ito, and architect Kengo Kuma. Each exhibition is curated every three months, embodying their own unique theme and current thinking.

As part of this project, "Future of Creation — more than Reason" will feature a collaborative work that transcends the boundaries of architecture, fashion, and music, with architect Kengo Kuma, musician Ichiro Yamaguchi (NF/Sakanaction), and ANREALAGE designer Kunihiko Morinaga. The exhibition will feature works that aim to create experiences that transcend meaning, interpretation, and logic.
