Celine has released a new bag, the Celine Conti, for its Spring/Summer 2023 collection. The name comes from the Quai de Conti*, located between the Pont Neuf and the Pont des Arts in Paris.


Most models on the runway for the Spring/Summer 2023 collection, "LA COLLECTION DE SAINT-TROPEZ," carried the Celine Conti. This tote bag, featuring the iconic closucle (padlock), is a practical size that can even hold a laptop or A4-sized files.

Sapre Calfskin
The bag will be available in four different materials: natural calfskin, a leather so beautiful it requires almost no finishing process; sapre calfskin, with its natural grain and soft feel; suede calfskin; and rare crocodile skin. The Celine Conti line, which showcases the high-quality materials and hand-stitched craftsmanship of artisans, is positioned as the Maison's high-end bag line and will feature as a key bag in the next collection, Fall/Winter 2023.

*CONTI is located on the left bank of Paris's 6th arrondissement, in an area home to the Institut de France and the Monnaie de France, and is surrounded by streets reminiscent of old Paris.
