3.1 Phillip Lim has announced the third project in its "3.1 Tribe" campaign, collaborating with Carlota Guerrero and Kyle Weeks.


Through collaborations with photographers, artists, and filmmakers, the campaign continues to depict "Romancing Reality." This time, two talented global citizens, Carlota Guerrero and Kyle Weeks, express the concept of family in different ways, depicting the power of creativity and community in a different way.

Carlota Guerrero was born in Barcelona. Self-taught since her teenage years, Carlota is known for her work that combines photography, film, and choreography. Fusing feminism, nature, and performance, her work exudes impact and ethereal energy.

Carlota commented on the shoot, "The theme of this shoot with Philippe was 'tribe.' To me, this word represents my mother and sisters. I depicted a family, with the eldest as the muse, and the younger generation looking up to her and learning from her. But sometimes, I also included the attitude of the eldest learning from the younger generation."


Kyle Weeks is a photographer based in Amsterdam who works mainly in Europe and Africa. Kyle is a creative photographer known for his photography that maintains its essence while challenging stereotypes of beauty.

Kyle commented, "I paid homage to the legendary portrait photographer Rineke Dijkstra and created work that reflects the modern and effortless aesthetic of our Pre-Fall 2019 collection. Inspired by her early work, 'Park Portraits,' I photographed twins in a park in Amsterdam."
