Heron Preston's Spring/Summer 2020 collection was shown on June 18th, the first day of Paris Fashion Week Men's.
Before the show began, the sounds of the New York subway were played in the venue, and footage of New York streets from the 1980s was shown on the screen. Heron Preston's first official show in Paris, the Fall/Winter 2019-20 collection in January this year, was themed around an airport lobby, but this time the theme was a "concrete jungle," inspired by the New York he himself lives in. The show featured a joint COED show for both men's and women's collections. The range of the collection has expanded to include collaborations with Gore-Tex and Levi's, denim, shirts, and jackets printed with paintings by New York graffiti artist Robert Nava, and a collaboration with vintage remake designer and influencer SAMI MIRO. Based on the brand's signature orange color, the collection clearly expresses its identity with reflectors and logo prints on the neckline, making it a mainstream luxury streetwear brand.
