Eri, owner of second-hand clothing store "DEPT," and florist Ochi Yasutaka, who runs the flower shop "Diligence Parlor," will open a new general goods store, "DONADONA TOKYO," on Harajuku Cat Street on July 13th.

DONADONA TOKYO was started by eri, who traveled around the world to purchase goods for DEPT, with the desire to share the unique items she encountered there with as many people as possible. Eri and Ochi Yasutaka are friends. Eri says that Ochi is someone with whom she "strongly shares a sense of what is 'interesting' and 'cute,'" and that this led to the two of them launching the shop together.
The shop's name is a reference to the image of a calf being sold in the lyrics of the folk song "Dona Dona." The store is packed with a variety of items that Eri and Ochi Yasutaka have personally picked up from their travels around the world.
The store also houses a flower shop run by Ochi, where customers can enjoy coordinating flowers with the vases for sale.

Original gift wrapping is also available for special gifts. To celebrate the grand opening, customers who spend over 3,000 yen will receive a free ear tag key charm inspired by the folk song "Dona Dona" as a novelty gift. This offer is on a first-come, first-served basis and will end when stock runs out, so be quick if you want to get your hands on one.
Novelty ear tag key charm. (Apparently, the numbers represent the shop's phone number!)
