The flagship store of Taiwan Ten Shoten, a popular Taiwanese sweets cafe known for its freshly made tapioca, will open in Omotesando, Tokyo on June 21st.

The hugely popular signature item, Sweet Brown Sugar Cream Milk, has been transformed into a smoothie perfect for summer.

Taiwan Sweet Shop is a cafe that serves Taiwanese sweets, including drinks made with wildly popular fresh tapioca pearls, as well as fluffy douhua (touhua) and chewy taro balls (yuyuan), made fresh in-house daily using organic soy milk.


Based on the concept of "A bite to soothe the soul, Taiwan time," Taiwan Sweet Shop was founded with the desire to soothe the soul with Taiwanese sweets and bring people closer to Taiwan in a space that evokes the island. As of 2019, Taiwan Sweet Shop boasts the largest selection of Taiwanese sweets and drinks in Japan. It has earned a reputation as a cafe where you can experience the ever-evolving Taiwanese sweets of Japan, even before anyone else.


Freshly made fresh tapioca

It is said that tapioca is at its most delicious within an hour of being prepared, so by spending over an hour every day in-store preparing it diligently, they are always able to provide freshly made tapioca. Their proud fresh tapioca is used as a topping on all of their products.
