The Aozora Curry Fest at Chukyo Racecourse will be held over two days, May 25th and 26th, at Chukyo Racecourse in Aichi Prefecture.

This event, which will be held in conjunction with the 86th Japan Derby (GI), a horse racing festival held at JRA Tokyo Racecourse on May 26th, will feature 15 curry restaurants setting up stalls each day, allowing visitors to sample and compare a variety of delicious curries, from popular spice curries to local specialties.

Osaka's "Fallen Angel Kakki"
Making its first appearance in the Tokai area, Osaka's "Fallen Angel Kakki" is renowned for its unique curry that combines spices with the sweetness of broth, and Tokyo's Ebisu restaurant "Alaprenewala," an exquisite Indo-European-style curry made by a chef with a background as a French chef. Nagoya's popular restaurants "cafe PAHANA" and "Trippin' Spice" will also be participating. Curry lovers will also be delighted with the lineup, including Nagoya's famous "Oriental," and Gifu Prefecture's Yanaizu cafes "Babyda" and "Bhutan Kitchen."

Other events scheduled for the Derby on May 26th include a talk show and live music performance by SKE48 member Matsui Jurina, a performance by ASA-CHANG, the founding percussionist of Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, and a collaborative performance by sitar players Minakumari and Shimizu Hirotaka, as well as a Star☆Twinkle PreCure character show for families.
