The new Dior Grand Soir Automate timepiece collection is inspired by Christian Dior's passion for the bounty of nature and the signs of destiny. At the touch of a small button hidden in the crown, the mechanical automaton begins to move for approximately 30 seconds, magically bringing the elements of the dial to life and unfolding a poetic tale.

The "Dior Grand Soir Automate Étoile de Monsieur Dior" model celebrates Christian Dior in its truest form, featuring on its dial the stars that guided him when he decided to found an haute couture house, the iconic location of 30 Avenue Montaigne, and its constellation, Aquarius, symbols that accompanied Dior throughout his life. As the automaton causes a shooting star to cross the horizon, Christian Dior's lucky star twinkles in a night sky shrouded in pearlescent clouds, inviting one to enter into a peaceful reverie.

Through an animation on the dial developed exclusively for the Maison, the Dior Grande Soir Automata Etoile de Monsieur Dior weaves a new story into Dior watchmaking.
