The 8th annual Kawagoe Bread Marche will be held on May 12th in the Maruhiro Kawagoe store's No. 6 parking lot and on the first floor of the building next to the East Exit parking lot.


Held annually since its inception in 2012, the Kawagoe Bread Marche is a must-see event for bread lovers, bringing together the unique bakeries scattered throughout Kawagoe, a city known as Little Edo and a renowned tourist destination. Last year's event attracted 12,000 visitors, making it a popular attraction and a new Kawagoe specialty.

This year, a record 26 bakeries will be gathering from Saitama, centered around Kawagoe. Kawagoe's bakeries include NANTSUKA BAKERY, Zentaro, HANDMADE BAKERY nicori, Bakelike0044, Pan no Kaori, Boulangerie Lunette, Clover Bakery, WACCI, BREADMAN, Bakery Crepe, Anytime, Keyaki Bakery, Paru Paru, and Kawagoe Bakery Rakuraku.



In addition to Kawagoe, other bakeries include Boulangerie Kishimoto (Shin-Tokorozawa), EMU (Higashi-Tokorozawa), OtTIMO Urawa (Urawa), and panya no..takesan! (Toda), Coton (Tsuruse), Bagel Kobo Hirai (Hidaka), Le Popotan (Fujimino), Shiawase Bread Kobo KoMugi (Mizuhodai), Bäckerei Terutake (Fujimino), Bread Kobo Nukku (Tokorozawa), Boulangerie Hapi-ya (Sakado), and PANJA (Iruma) will be participating.



Other items that will be participating include French toast from Laugh Teru, hamburgers from Burger Cafe honohono, and burgers from Upper East Side. In addition to stalls selling bread companions like hot dogs from Kawagoe SIDE, koppepan rolls from Glincoffee, honey from Nonoyama Bee Farm, and bacon from Hayashi Ham, there will also be bread-related workshops.
