ANNA SUI's new project, "SWINGING TOKYO," sends a message to today's Tokyo, a city well-versed not only in fashion but also in art and music. Starting at Isetan Shinjuku on May 1st, the project will take designer Anna Sui back to her creative roots and share her sensibilities and values. Starting nationwide, the project will kick off at Isetan Shinjuku.


Like the era of "Swinging London," the 1960s culture that marked her origins as a designer, the project offers new ideas for Tokyo's next generation: free, unique, and urban fashion. The project will feature special collections with designers whom Anna Sui "respects," her favorite items, and unprecedented items born from her "communication" with Tokyo. Collaborative items with a variety of genres will also be available.






Anna Sui has collaborated with respected Japanese designer Kansai Yamamoto on a special collection. Original T-shirts and miscellaneous goods feature Anna Sui motifs in her favorite "Kansai Girl" designs.

Anna Sui's collaboration with Yoku Moku, a favorite of hers and one of her favorites, brought home as a souvenir when she visited Japan, has been realized.

A total of four original dolls will be available, featuring Barbie dolls, cherished by Anna Sui since childhood, dressed in Anna Sui collection items.




Anna Sui has teamed up with GINZA magazine to release new items overseen by stylist Shinichi Mita. The lineup features items featuring the popular floral and bird motifs from the Spring/Summer 2019 collection, now in original colors.
