Isetan Shinjuku has launched the "GLOBAL GREEN" campaign, which aims to promote a sustainable environment and society through fashion. Through items made from textiles made from waste materials, sandals that recycle, and fashion born from projects supporting developing countries, the campaign focuses on coexistence between people and nature. The Center Park section on the second floor of the main building will feature clothing and accessories from Stella Jean and CHAN LUU, both of which are part of the Ethical Fashion Initiative (ITC), which supports the promotion of employment, primarily for women, through craftsmanship in developing countries. Stella Jean will be offering items designed using textiles that she personally visited Africa to supervise the dyeing process. Items feature vibrant, vibrant colors with African-inspired patterns. Chan Luu will also be offering accessories made by women in Kenya and Haiti. On the fourth floor of the building, an exhibition titled "Japanese Colors: Natural Colors" features natural color-tone items from four brands: ARTISAN, BASILE28, β, and Gabardine K.T., all dyed with plant dyes such as indigo, onion skins, and rosemary. Even with the same indigo or rosemary dyes, items are available in a wide range of tones, from light to deep, by varying the number of times they are dyed. Also on the third floor of the building are ethical bags from Vivienne Westwood and Stella McCartney, part of the aforementioned collaboration with ITC. The food section on the basement floor features bread and sweets made with vanilla beans, which are grown with the aim of promoting the sustainable development of Ugandan agriculture. On the 5th floor living area, GREEN FINGERS, directed by Satoshi Kawakami, is promoting the project, which aims to contribute to people, nature, and society through food, clothing, and shelter.
