Gucci is celebrating the New Year with a limited-edition collection featuring a piglet motif. The collection, which began in January, features 35 diverse items, ranging from women's and men's apparel to luggage, small leather goods, shoes, and accessories.

The Chinese zodiac sign for 2019 is the boar, which is represented as a pig in China. The limited-edition collection features a variety of items, including an original Gucci design for the piglet, as well as the animated characters created by United Artists for the 1933 Disney film "The Three Little Pigs." For women, Gucci's original characters adorn vibrantly colored pajamas, knitwear, T-shirts, and sweatshirts, while the same characters appear on women's scarves, knit hats, and socks, as well as men's knit cardigans and T-shirts.

Characters from Walt Disney's "The Three Little Pigs" appear on patches adorning the "Ace" sneaker and GG Supreme backpack, tote bags, and wallets, as well as on women's oversized denim shirts and men's shirts and lightweight blousons, and there will also be a limited edition watch with "The Three Little Pigs" on the dial. Additionally, visuals from Disney's original posters are printed on white cotton T-shirts and knitted into sweaters.

A special editorial has also been released to coincide with the release of this collection. Photographer Frank Lebon captures various scenes of the brand enjoying a luxurious life in New York with its pet piglets. In addition, the official Gucci app will feature special interactive content. Users can display the piglet characters on their smartphones and other devices, take selfies with them, and even dance and create movies with the piglets.

The limited collection comes in special packaging to celebrate the New Year and has been on sale since January at Gucci's official online store (Gucci.com) and major stores around the world.
