SUMMER SONIC 2019 will be held over three days from August 16th to 18th at ZOZO Marine Stadium & Makuhari Messe in Tokyo and Maishima SONIC PARK (Maishima Sports Island) in Osaka. This year marks the 20th anniversary of Summer Sonic. Yesterday, it was announced that the first headliner will be Red Hot Chili Peppers, who will be performing for the first time in eight years since 2011. Today, it was announced that B’z will be performing as the second headliner. This will be the first time in the history of Summer Sonic that a Japanese artist will be headlining.
