FENDI, a luxury brand representing Rome, Italy, will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the birth of the Maison's legendary iconic bag, the Baguette, by releasing a special capsule collection created in collaboration with actress Sarah Jessica Parker.

Unveiled at the Fendi Baguette 25th Anniversary Collection fashion show held in New York on September 9, 2022, the Baguette not only embodies the long-standing relationship between Sarah Jessica Parker and Silvia Venturini Fendi, Artistic Director of Accessories and Menswear, but also reinterprets the bag's versatility and timeless appeal while incorporating the personal styles of both individuals.
This limited-edition collection, highly iconic and a true expression of the Maison's creativity, features degraded sequin embroidery on the bag itself, and four interchangeable magnetic "FF" logo buckles (two outline and two inline) add a special touch of vibrancy to the bag, allowing the wearer to customize it to their own mood and taste. The hand-tied sequins in wasabi, baby pink, and turquoise blue are applied only in predetermined areas, resulting in a unique gradation that varies from bag to bag, making each one unique. This unique gradation, achieved through exquisite craftsmanship, is the defining feature of this capsule collection.
The "FF" logo buckle comes in four types: one with a bubble-like sphere outline painted the same color as the bag body, one studded with zircon stones, and one made from marble-patterned stone paste. To complete this limited-edition collection as a collector's item, the bag and buckle will be delivered in a specially designed box, the outside of which features Sarah Jessica Parker's signature and the caption "This is not a bag, it's a Baguette!", a famous line from the hit American TV drama "Sex and the City." The "Sarah Jessica Parker x Fendi Baguette Capsule Collection" will be available in select Fendi stores worldwide from mid-December 2022.
