Music streaming service Spotify will host a special live event, "Spotify presents Early Noise Special," on March 28th at EX THEATER ROPPONGI, featuring artists who have made great strides as a result of their "Early Noise" program, which showcases new talent leading the next generation of music.


This inaugural event will bring together artists whose Spotify playlist, "Early Noise," has seen a surge in Spotify streams and listeners, allowing them to showcase their growth in front of fans. The first seven acts to perform include Official Hige Dandism, Vickeblanka, RIRI, ReN, Akko Gorilla, SIRUP, and Domico. More artists will be announced in the future.

"Early Noise," launched in 2017, is a program in which Spotify creates a list of artists it expects to perform at the beginning of the year and introduces them to discerning music fans through a playlist of the same name. It also hosts live events called "Spotify Early Noise Nights," where listeners can experience the performances of artists they discovered through the "Early Noise" playlist. Spotify actively supports new talent overseas, and many artists, such as Canada's Shawn Mendes and New Zealand's Lorde, have used this program to become global stars.

In Japan, artists such as Aimyon, Taichi Mukai, and CHAI have gained new listeners both domestically and internationally through "Early Noise," and have progressed to the next stage of their careers.

Tickets will go on sale on e+ starting January 26th. In addition, to celebrate the event, Spotify will be offering top listeners who have repeatedly listened to the performing artists' music on Spotify and continued to support them the chance to purchase tickets in advance, so that artists and their fans can come together and enjoy this one-night-only special festival.
