With tradition and innovation at its core, Louis Vuitton has engaged in creative exchanges with a wide range of artists for over 160 years. These collaborations have broadened the Maison's horizons and infused its collections with rich ideas and astonishing expressions.
Hosted in the building that formerly housed the La Belle Jardiniere department store, LV DREAM is a comprehensive exhibition paying homage to the ideas and creators that have nurtured the Maison's inspiration. A major feature of the exhibition is the inclusion of a café and chocolate shop created in collaboration with Maxime Frédéric, chef patissier of Cheval Blanc Paris.

Opening on December 15, 2022, LV DREAM invites visitors on a journey exploring the history of Louis Vuitton's collaborations through a variety of pieces from the past to the present. Spread across nine galleries featuring numerous interactive elements, this immersive journey traces the highly original interpretations born from a continuous dialogue between the Maison and artists. The full scope of the brand's ongoing creative dynamism is revealed through the first three chapters, which include early artistic endeavors like window displays and perfume bottles, custom trunks, the iconic monogram reinterpreted by renowned artists, various ready-to-wear collaborations, and the "Artycapucines Collection," in which artists offer fresh new interpretations of the Capucines bag.
Upon entering the exhibition, visitors are guided through a sequential path through thematic rooms, including "Louis Vuitton: As seen by...," "The World of Vuitton According to Rei," and "Leather goods in Fashion." Highlights include two never-before-seen portraits of Louis Vuitton by Alex Katz and Mr. Cartoon. "The World of Vuitton According to Rei" is dedicated to Rei Kawakubo, the artistic director of Comme des Garçons and creator of two capsule collections for Louis Vuitton: "Party Bag" in 2008 and "Bag with Holes" in 2014. The space allows visitors to feel as if they are inside a bag. The final exhibition space, "Art Meets Fashion," also features an interactive space, featuring motion-activated animations projected onto a digital wall, based on collaborations with Daniel Buren, NIGO®, Grace Coddington, and Christopher Nemeth.
