The poetic and elegant Classique Moon Phase 9085 Valentine's Day Edition gracefully celebrates the feast of lovers. The dial features alternating Breguet numerals and six rubies, while the Maison's signature traditional Breguet hands glide across the dial to mark the passing of time.
The mother-of-pearl dial is adorned with an exquisitely detailed guilloched pattern, handcrafted by the artisans of the Breguet Manufacture. The moon phase, displayed at 6 o'clock, features a hammered gold moon surrounded by gold stars and a midnight blue lacquered sky. The Breguet signature appears in an oval motif at 12 o'clock. The new Classique 9085 is powered by the 231-component caliber 537L. The gold rotor is hand-guilloched with a circular barleycorn pattern.
This rhodium-plated automatic movement has a balance frequency of 3.5 Hz and a 45-hour power reserve. The in-line Swiss lever escapement's escape wheel and balance spring are made of silicon, a material with many excellent properties. It is resistant to corrosion and wear, and is unaffected by magnetic fields, thereby improving the precision of the watch. The sapphire caseback reveals some of Breguet's most prized decorative techniques, including the beveling of various components and the Côtes de Genève pattern. The case is water-resistant to 3 bar (30 m).
