The concept behind this collaboration between the two Japanese brands is "OZISM." The name was inspired by film director Yasujiro Ozu. The two designers, who are seemingly opposites, chose the name to pay homage to their mutual respect for Japanese aesthetics, history, and background, as well as their empathy for Ozu.
