CHARITY BAG
Starting December 2, 2022, Barneys New York stores and its online store will begin selling packable charity bags made from recycled nylon that can be used as shopping bags. The charity bag features a simple typography design with the catchy, humorous, and rhythmic phrase, "PARTIES, PARTIES, PARTIES."
All proceeds from the sale of these charity bags will be donated to the Central Community Chest of Japan's Disaster Volunteer and NPO Activity Support Fund (VolaSapo). Donations will be used to support the activities of volunteer groups and NPOs that directly provide support to disaster victims, as well as infrastructure development activities to improve local disaster prevention and mitigation capabilities in preparation for disasters. The bags are filled with Barneys New York's signature happy and positive message, adding color to the upcoming holiday season and making every day a special day.

Barneys New York's window displays are a seasonal tradition during the holiday season. Supervised by creative director Katsuhiko Taniguchi, they will be on display at all Barneys New York stores until early January. This year's theme, derived from the mood of the year, is "Dressed I'm Art." The message conveyed is, "Dressed I'm Art," inspiring the excitement that has been suppressed during the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
The dress of the giant female mannequin, measuring 460cm wide and 300cm high, features beautiful draping and is designed to resemble a Christmas tree. Various photos that tell the history of Barneys New York have been cut into a mosaic and pinned to the surface. At the Barneys New York Ginza flagship store, in addition to the same mannequins as in each store, another mannequin with a male torso and female legs wearing a woman's dress is displayed, expressing genderlessness.
