PLUSTOKYO, one of the largest music lounges in Tokyo, combining elements of art, music, food and entertainment, opened in Ginza on November 27th.
PLUSTOKYO is one of the largest music lounges in Tokyo, with a capacity of over 1,000 people and consisting of two floors: a lounge floor of approximately 1000m2 with a hotel lobby theme, and a rooftop of approximately 620m2 that gives you a resort-like atmosphere while in the heart of the city. With the creation of a nighttime economy and work style reforms leading up to 2020, the way we spend our time and have fun is changing. This club, cafe bar, and gallery aims to be a "social space for adults" that offers a new way to have fun, centered around music. From the opening day, the club will host parties featuring renowned DJs from Japan and abroad, and plans to host live performances by up-and-coming artists in the future. The sound system uses Pioneer Professional Audio speakers, with a total of 48 speakers across the floor, creating a luxurious soundscape filled with music. The main floor, featuring a towering Mount Fuji painted by Morio Nakajima, one of Japan's only two public bathhouse artists, offers a relaxing lounge during the day for lunch and coffee, and transforms into a club on weekends. Art is adorned throughout the space, including the 30-meter-long main bar, where two B-boy sculptures by Takao Obata face each other, and the VIP room, decorated with artwork by the up-and-coming artist Wataru Komachi. The rooftop, which offers views of Tokyo Tower and Skytree on either side, is equipped with a DJ booth and is also a place where you can enjoy BBQs in the summer.

Guests are greeted by artworks in the gallery located next to the entrance. At the grand opening, there will be an exhibition of neon art by five artists curated by GASBOOK×YAR, with plans to introduce art exhibits that can be purchased in the future.
Lobby food, a modern interpretation of hotel lounge food that fits in with adult daytime and nighttime scenes, is available all day. During the day, you can enjoy a set brunch of "a colorful seasonal appetizer platter + selected main + drink" from 1,700 yen in a spacious sofa area inspired by a hotel lobby.

For the night scene, a menu that pairs well with alcohol is available. In addition to bar-use "finger food x cocktail" dishes with a twist, such as monaka (a type of wafer cake) made with fruit and foie gras and chicken topped with a mountain of Sichuan-style seasoned chips, the bar also caters to dining and small parties with hearty meals like mullet roe and crab pasta, salads, and Kyoto-produced duck and Konohana beef. There are also plans to develop menus in collaboration with food creators.

In addition, the bar is collaborating with Mixology Bar, which offers original cocktails. "Mixology Spirits Bang(k)" offers cocktails blended with unique techniques using distilled spirits made with unique Japanese ingredients, methods, and traditions. Using centrifuges and evaporators, you can enjoy a new world of cocktails that take advantage of the culture, climate, and characteristics of each region and producers to update Japan's alcohol culture. The sub-bar also has a pop-up space where you can enjoy a variety of alcoholic drinks, including sake.
