The Ginza Galleries' art event, "Gallery Night," will begin today, May 22nd, at 5:00 PM. Launched in 2004, "Gallery Night" brings together galleries from Ginza 4-Chome to 8-Chome. While Ginza galleries are often considered intimidating, the event extends its opening hours until 9:00 PM, aiming to welcome a wider audience. Some galleries offer opportunities to interact with gallerists and artists, and this year, four of the 26 participating galleries (Galerie Tamenaga, Yamashita Gallery, Ginza Kuroda Touen, and Ginza Jansen Gallery) are planning one-night-only exhibitions. We hope you will take this opportunity to experience the joy of visiting a gallery and discover stimulating art. The participating galleries listed below will be marked with lanterns crafted by Gifu-based washi paper artisans.
