A new label, AIPL, whose designer is not disclosed, has made its debut. A pop-up is being held at idea by sosu in Omotesando Hills until November 25th.



"AIPL" is an acronym for "Answer In Past Life." This will be the first time the brand has been unveiled in Tokyo, but it was already unveiled at ComplexCon 2018 in Long Beach, California this year, where it collaborated with LA-based brand mindseeker to create a coach jacket. It has been worn by A$AP Ferg and has attracted attention in the street scene.

The main logo was created by New York artist ARI, who has worked on a variety of projects including graphic design and advertising for hip-hop group The Roots (Kris Kross) and record label Ruffhouse Records.

The reception party held the night before the pop-up opened featured a performance by DJ YouthQuake, and guests included Sekiguchi Mandy (EXILE/GENERATIONS), Sano Reo (GENERATIONS), actor Asano Tadanobu, musicians Okamoto Reiji (OKAMOTO'S), Shomura Satoshi (Alexandros), rappers MADE IN TYO, JP THE WAVY, kZm (YENTOWN), artists Nakano Takeshi (SKOLOCT), and Ogi "POGGY" Motofumi.
