Last June, FENDI, a luxury brand representing Rome, Italy, and AS Roma, the prestigious soccer club based in the city, announced a partnership to produce the official wardrobes of the players for the Italian Serie A League 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 seasons.

A few months after the announcement of this historic partnership, the two Rome-based brands have expanded overseas to further solidify their collaboration, choosing Japan as their starting point.

Jose Mourinho's AS Roma will arrive in Tokyo on 22 November and will face Nagoya Grampus at Toyota Stadium on 25 November. The second and final match of the tour will be against Yokohama F. Marinos at the National Stadium on 28 November.

Fendi will not only provide the official wardrobe designed specifically for the players by Silvia Venturini Fendi, Artistic Director of Accessories and Menswear, demonstrating unparalleled craftsmanship in accordance with the brand's codes of tradition and innovation, but will also hold a kickoff event at the Fendi Ginza store on November 24th.

It will be a striking fusion of the Eternal City, where both brands have their roots, and the modern appeal of Tokyo, Japan's capital.

With a history of over 50 years in Japan, Fendi will provide the perfect stage for AS Roma's return to Japan for the first time in 18 years, and hopes to further strengthen the ties between the two brands on the international scene.
