MAISON No.8, a museum shop created by stylist Mihoko Sakai and former select shop buyer Kaori Matsumoto, will be open for a limited time from November 1st to 11th at Gallery MUVEIL in Aoyama, Tokyo, as "MUVEIL meets MAISON No.8."

MUVEIL & MAISON No.8
Museum shop MAISON No.8 introduces "eight treasures of the moment" for each season, as seen through the eyes of travel-loving stylist Mihoko Sakai and Kaori Matsumoto, who has been a fan of vintage clothing since her teens. With the theme of "Feel Vintage," the collection will feature treasure-like items such as one-of-a-kind vintage items, remade clothing, and art.

This is the third installment and will feature eight items, including collaboration items with MUVEIL & MAISON No.8, as well as Hermès, Chanel, SILK Shirts, PRINT DRESS, FLOWER ART POSTER, MIHOKO&SAKAI, and MAISON No.8. "MUVEIL & MAISON No.8," which was brought to life by MUVEIL designer Michiko Nakayama's shared love of vintage and cherishing clothing, will feature special items that combine used military items from MAISON No.8 with MUVEIL parts. Other items on display include advertisement pages cut out from magazines from the 1950s, Hermès items such as tableware, accessories and scarves, second-hand silk shirts with various pocket and collar details, logo sweatshirts and knitwear from all eras, Levi's® denim, second-hand items such as Yves Saint Laurent shoes and scarves, and original MAISON No.8 products.

Why not visit in search of a treasured piece?
